Drinking Water 2003

F Drinking Water Research

  • The Inspectorate plays a key role in drinking water research.
  • A number of research projects were completed in 2003.
  • Details of current research activities are listed.

General

The Inspectorate manages the Water Directorate (WD)’s Water Distribution, Conservation and Quality (WDCQ) research programme, which is part of the Defra Environment Protection Group (EPG) research programme.

The WDCQ programme supports Defra and the Welsh Assembly Government policy on the quality and regulation of water supplies and enables the Inspectorate to make an input to international drinking water issues.

Information on WDCQ Research
