GUIDANCE TO INSET APPOINTEES ON THEIR REGULATORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Purpose
- At the end of August 2002, the Inspectorate issued guidance to inset appointees and
potential inset applicants on their regulatory responsibilities in terms of drinking water
quality (Information Letter 11/2002). This guidance has recently been reviewed and revised
to take account of changes in the regulatory regime.
- The purpose of this letter is to issue the revised
guidance, which is attached. The guidance will also be available as a stand alone
document on the DWI website (www.dwi.gov.uk).
