Audit of Regulation 35(1)

This Information Letter provides an advance copy of a report commissioned by The Drinking Water Inspectorate looking at companies drinking water quality communications with customers.

The report contains, amongst other things, a check on company compliance with Regulation 35 (1) as amended on 22 December 2007. The report will be published on the Inspectorate’s website at end of month and made available to the Consumer Council for Water at that time.

DWI has made arrangement for the consultant to provide notes on individual company performance and these will be provided to day-to-day contacts when they are available.

A copy of this letter is being sent to Phillip Mills at Water UK.
