World Health Organization’s manual on Water Safety Planning now available

A second edition of the World Health Organization’s manual on Water Safety Planning is now available.

As a practical guide to implementing Water Safety Planning accompanying the WHO guidelines for drinking water quality, the manual captures experiences and learning from practitioners since the first edition was published in 2009. Case studies and real world challenges have been updated and modernised, including new topics such as climate change, equity and resilience.

The manual is intended for water suppliers of all sizes and groups responsible for public health, surveillance and regulation of drinking water. Further details can be found here.
