British sign language intorduction to the Drinking Water Inspectorate

The Drinking Water Inspectorate (the Inspectorate) is the independent regulator responsible for making sure that drinking water supplied to consumers in England and Wales is safe and wholesome. We oversee water companies, carry out investigations and take action where standards are not met, to protect public health and maintain confidence in drinking water supplies.

We recognise the importance of making our information accessible to everyone. To support the deaf community, we have produced British Sign Language (BSL) videos that explain who we are, what we do, and how we regulate drinking water. These videos also set out how you can contact us if you have concerns about the quality of your drinking water or believe there may be a problem with your supply.

Our aim is to ensure that all consumers can access clear information about their drinking water and understand the role we play in protecting it.

The DWI are aware of an issue displaying this video and will resolve it asap.
