REVOCATION OF ENFORCEMENT ORDER –

SECTION 18 WATER INDUSTRY ACT 1991

The Secretary of State gives notice under section 20(6) of the Water Industry Act 1991 (“the Act”) that –

1. she proposes to revoke the Enforcement Order made against Southern Water on 20 February 2023.
2. she is satisfied that the requirements of the Enforcement Order have been met by the company and that the company is now in compliance with Section 202(4) of the Act.
3. Representations or objections with respect to the revocation of the Enforcement Order may be made by Tuesday 11 August 2026 and should be addressed to: Marcus J Rink, Chief Inspector of Drinking Water, using the following email address: dwi.enforcement@defra.gov.uk
